“What started as a class project at Cornell University, Rosie Applications was acquired by Instacart this month to provide local grocers with game-changing technology to grow their businesses. Chief Executive Officer Nick Nickitas and Chief Technology Officer Michael Ryzewic created Rosie in 2012 while pursuing their MBAs at the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management. They went on to strengthen their business plan through participating in Cornell’s 3 Day Startup Weekend and winning business plan competitions shortly afterward.”
