Start a 3 Day Startup Student Group

Start a 3 Day Startup Student Chapter

At 3 Day Startup you became part of a brilliant community of inspired students. Want to keep it going? Starting a 3DS student chapter is a great way to do so.

A student chapter can help keep in touch with mentors, learn leadership skills and strengthen the entrepreneurial community on your campus. Student groups also have access to lots of useful university resources.

What next? Requirements are different at every university, but two things are universal: you’ll need by-laws (which we can help with), and you’ll need to attend some type of campus orientation session. You can contact us if you have any questions, or fill out the form below.

Why should I start a 3DS student chapter?
There are a great many reasons, including…

•Easier to work with University (book rooms, publicize, legitimacy, etc)
•Access to special funds that can be used for programs, reunion events, publicity, etc.
•Better long term access to mentors (can help with startups, connections, etc)
•Consistent relationship with the 3 Day Startup global network to help you along.
•Official title (looks good on a resume, right?).
•Keep track of 3 Day Startup alumni.

How long does it take to found a 3DS student chapter?
Short answer? It depends. It may only take a few weeks, or it could take longer. Every school is different in regards to founding student groups. Some only allow new groups once a year. Others have open enrolment throughout the year. The process can be simple or complex, depending on the school. Contact us and we can help you learn more.

Our school already has an entrepreneurship club. Isn’t this sort of the same thing?
No. The 3DS student chapter is meant to be a group dedicated to organizing 3 Day Startup programs as well as helping former participants leverage their chances of success.

Can we get university funding as a student group?
Probably. One of the perks of a student group is having access to special funding for event planning, printing, etc.
